Join in All of Us Research Program

All of Us is an NIH public health research project. Its aim is to collect health data from at least 1 million individuals living across the US. The goal is to provide health researchers database to do analyses and understand diseases, so health providers can tailor medication and treatment based on our individual differences.

Asian Center is a member of the task force to help engage and educate Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders about All of Us. We are a partner of the Asian American, National Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Engagement and Recruitment Core (ARC) family for this project. The more data we can provide from AANHPI communities, the more we can understand our health, and therefore, help the communities create a better future for health through precision medicine approach. We are very excited to be able to join this coalition and facilitate AANHPI communities to provide their health data.

As an Asian American, you are encouraged to participate in this great endeavor. It is not just for public health research and precision medicine, by providing our health data, it directly benefits ourselves. You have the opportunity to donate blood and urine samples for DNA analysis. For the blood and urine sample donation, you will get a $25 gift card. The DNA analyses are free to participants, and you will learn information such as your genetic traits and ancestry, whether you have a greater risk of developing certain health conditions, or how your body might react to certain medications through analysis of 59 genes. It is currently more than $500 to do such a test commercially. For the future of your own health and for others in your community, learn more about the All of Us Research Program at or call (844) 842-2855. The future of health begins with you!
