Every year, the Nam Center for Korean Studies confers the Sang-Yong Nam Award in Korean Studies to one graduating senior. The ceremony is immediately followed by the Sang-Yong Nam Memorial Lecture. This year, our lecture speaker will be Dr. Dong-yeon Kim, a Ford School alum and the current governor of Gyeonggi Province, the biggest province in South Korea. Dr. Kim was a former Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea and a presidential candidate in the last election.
