Child and Adult Care Food Program

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal program that provides reimbursements for nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children and adults who are enrolled for care at participating child care centers, day care homes, and adult day care centers.

National CACFP Week is March 13-19, 2022

CACFP Week is a national educational and information campaign sponsored annually by the National CACFP Sponsors Association designed to raise awareness of how the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) CACFP works to combat hunger. The CACFP brings healthy foods to tables
across the country for children in child care centers, homes and afterschool, as well as for adults in day care.
