APACC Celebrates Lunar New Year at The Legends Club in Joe Louis Arena on February 2, 2016.
More than 110 APACC members and guests attended the event celebrating a fresh new year on the lunar calendar, sponsored by General Motors, Talmer Bank, Chrysan Industries, Bromberg Associates, ICONMA, Mac Arthur Corporation and VHM Enterprises.
Featured speakers Tim Ha, Corporate Treasury and Tim Bishop Managing Director shared the news of the recent merger between Chemical Financial and Talmer Bank will now be able to serve Michigan in a more holistic approach. With over 270 branches across the state, consumers will not have better access for a wide range of financial services.
Executive Director Van Nguyen mentioned “APAs have been using the lunar calendar to mark the beginning of each year to bring in new wealth, happiness and health. There’s no better place to host at the iconic Legends Club at the Joe – as we are surrounded by a lot of red, which symbolizes good fortune and joy. As we all know, the Red Wings are moving their facilities into the new fabulous Arena next year, so it’s an added bonus we get to take in one last glimpse before the big transition. Those interested in buying a suite or hosting your event in the new arena, please see Sara Turnbull and she will be happy to help.”
One of APACC’s translation providers and an Honor Sponsor for the event, Bromberg and Associates found much value in the event. Jinny Bromberg, CEO, states that APACC events are diverse in attendees which helps her effort in connecting further with the APA community.
